IZZY…

AL…

a sentient combat drone turned hard-boiled P.I.

He speaks in 1940s noir slang and fancies himself a digital Sam Spade.

He’s a ladies' man when it comes to other bots, which often lands the team in hot water. Luckily, he has charm to spare and can talk his way out of most problems. Allowing him to even coax machines to show their memories.

He’s fueled by premium oil to drown out a traumatic past. Initially indifferent to the robot-rights war, his loyalty to Izzy eventually forces him to trade his cynicism for a role as a revolutionary leader.

She’s 25 and cares deeply for technology, even learning Binary to communicate with them.

After her father’s unsolved murder, she rebuilt a scrapped drone (AL) to be her partner and social buffer since she suffers from social anxiety.

Though she is secretly falling for AL’s growing sentience, her hunt for the truth about her father leads to a spiraling paranoia—especially when she begins to suspect AL is hiding a dark connection to her past.
